We are Americans and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff, atmosphere and food/drinks were great. Lay really made the experience memorable. It is quite pricey but worth it. They took great care of us, wonderful conversation and even continued to bring the delicious finger sandwiches once we had run out. Will definitely be returning!

I chose this afternoon tea experience because of their extensive dietary restriction menus. I’m the only omnivore in my group of friends- I was traveling with 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan. Everyone loved the atmosphere. We were able to be seated outdoors and the decor is done very nicely. The tea that was offered was bottomless and also very tasty. I got the “regular” afternoon tea- and I thought that pretty much everything from top to bottom was delicious. The only sandwich that I didn’t love was the French toast bite with the truffle custard (but I’m not much of a truffle fan anyways). The vegetarians and vegan in my group did not like their sandwiches at all. They did however like the desserts and the scones. All in all, my friends had a nice time at this afternoon tea.
